Leather Charms

Sunday, September 27: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

This class will be focused on the creation of a leather bag charm. Leatherwork is an artform that has roots in cultures across the globe and remains a reliable, durable craft to this day. Students will cover the steps involved in designing their own piece of art, cut and tool the material into the intended design, and finish the work with dyes or paints as they choose. 

  • Tuition: $68 per participant

  • Apply for a scholarship

  • Materials Fee: $30 to be paid to instructor.

  • Age / Ability Level: This class is beginner friendly. Minimum age 16.

Kessabit has over a decade of experience in making things out of leather.  Working in a broad spectrum of the leather design space, from bags to journals to bracelets, it has developed a unique style that centers bold styles and colors.
