SOlstice Herbalism

Saturday, June 20th • 12 - 4 PM

We gather on the eve of Summer Solstice. The sun is rising to its zenith and soon we’ll revel in the longest day of the year. We alight our attention on the flowering queens of the season, solstice wort and rose. Long associated with this solar holiday, these plants have much to teach us about holding fire in balance. You will learn two medicine making techniques for imprinting their magic into your home apothecary for year-round enjoyment. We will create a potent solstice wort salve, infuse a sensual rose honey, discuss folklore and medicinal properties, and do a group practice for experiencing direct communication with these plantcestors*.
